WHAT IS LIFE COACHING?

In the same way that a personal trainer can help take you to the next level in your physical fitness, a life coach trains your mind to help you get where you want to in life. Life coaching empowers you to reach your goals by utilizing your own skills, talents and abilities. It bridges the gap between where you are now and where you want to be with a clear, action-orientated plan. An important part of this process involves identifying the obstacles that are holding you back and exploring thoughts or behaviours that are not aligned with who you want to be or where you want to get. A life coach will help to motivate you and keep you accountable to your goals. More than anything a life coach will believe in you and your potential, even when the going gets tough.

WHO IS LIFE COACHING FOR?

Life coaching is for anyone looking to grow. It's particularly useful if you are looking to push through to the next level in your life or if you are finding certain areas of your life aren't where you would like them to be. It is suitable for all ages and is tailored to your own specific interests. We can incorporate different elements into sessions which can include elements from mindfulness, cognitive behavioural therapy and neuro-linguistic programming. Working together we uncover what strategies work best for you and make use of them. Life coaching can be applied to all areas of life, whether it be your health, career, relationships or finances.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Sessions last for 1 hour and take place on a weekly basis. Support is provided by email or phone outside of these hours. Sessions can take place online, through Zoom, WhatsApp video or here at the LAB. It's recommended that you engage with at least 12 sessions in order to give yourself the best chance at success. Most people find that once they start, regular sessions help to keep them motivated and accountable. We provide a free consultation where you can ask any questions you may have before starting.
